Schumann Music Studio

The Schumann Music Studio is a comfortable, acoustically beautiful space where musicians can sound, look, and feel their best. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, empowering environment where musicians can create magic.

Classical musicians come to SMS to make recordings that represent the best of their abilities. In addition to professional classical albums and videos, SMS has produced audition recordings for students that were accepted into leading conservatories and universities, including Juilliard, Harvard and Princeton.

Our piano, a 9 foot Yamaha CFIIIS, from the Yamaha Studios Concert Reserve, is kept in exquisite shape and is regularly tuned.

Located in the heart of San Francisco in the quaint village of Noe Valley, SMS is conveniently located beside local coffee shops, bookstores and restaurants.
